Iām not sure but the hindges(the loops) joining the armor together, to me, seems to look superimposed. should there not be some build up of dust and dirt where they connect. and the armor is made to allow the soldier to run, would there not be wear and tear on the hinges, and scratches where they pivoted?

Great job Leigh.
Every project you work on just keeps getting better and better.
And itās nice to see some lightning, because I always thought some of your a bit older pictures on your site was to dark to see the actuall nice textures, you didnāt have fill lights etc.
Well, this is going to rock so darn good!
Question: would you mind posting some of the painted texture maps, some small examples. I really wanna see how you made such great textures fit everywhere so good!

Looks like you need to start a texturing challenge! That rust is nutty.

But, the grey parts should be in the middle. When something gets rusted, itās normally from the edges to the center

i was feeling happy with my work ā¦but now i am in awe! this is just incredible stuff: the detail in your texture is exquisit! is it procedural or image based?
keep up the excellent work: its really comming along nowā¦ i hadnt looked at it for a few days and i was wondering if it would change much. i am blown away by the development you have acheived since i last looked! amazing!
i think strike is bang on with the saturationā¦ it makes a dramatic improvement.

It is pretty darn tootinā good, my only concern is what the grey sludge like smears on the armor are? Whatever they may be I donāt think they fit, at least in my dream world of wraiths and rusty armor that fills my head.

I think he meant it as a compliment to both you and leigh,
not as a stab at you (cause you do indeed rock!)
