very nice… so sweet “fish”

Great work, she remind me FF saga creature, really good model!

Remi: Thanks man. I’m liking the process aswell, although I need more patience to model the areas that have more detail. At the moment, its just see what works and add detail later.

pit: Excellent Idea!! Her eyes are black.

CgFreak: Actually this is a female warlord, her armour is going to be built soon.

eli-XSI-ir: thanks!

Gandalf: Well Edea from FF8 has been a huge inspiration for alot of my work. Its just something about hot chicks with power. Thanks!

Oh and is this an update attached? I think so.

Double Post.

very nice lotus… im loving it! and people didnt believe that you where going to adjust him to his “water enviroment” :bounce:

Hey Robert,
I love the feel of this, mix of Zora’s, ff10 sea creatures, and catfish all come to mind and then are placed in a blender.
I especially like the face, think it’s great how you have progressed from your original face model. Love the Edea inspiration, keep it up.

Mangled Poly:Indeed.

Shadowed_link: Hey thanks man!!

Update Time: Her arms have been revisited, and her head has had some tweaking to open her eyes.

The staff you see is the Rod of Isenguard. ( It got swept up and drifted down the river and into the ocean.

#44

Not to try and be a mod here…but this is Darks contest thread…don’t post your pics here…PM him and ask him if he’ll help you…:wip:

Looks good Dark…keep going man…modeling is excellent…and I would also say yes that you did an excellent job modeling the gils in…

#46

i love the face! the cheeks and the eyes rule!

keep it up!!!

It’s a great concept, and the implimentation is coming along. The face looks more like a female now, just needs a “little” bit of tweaking. Still, it’s much better than I’d be capable of so…

My $5000 laptop of 2 years, has finally died on me and I have no oppertunity to purchase a new one until the end of february.

Thankyou all very much for your support, and I hope to be pushing polygons ready for the next competition.

Thanks Again (esp Leigh)

Are you sure you can’t gain access to another machine in the meantime? The deadline is still quite a way off…

Are you sure you can’t gain access to another machine in the meantime?

Nope, the only other computer that I have access to (the one i’m using to check my mail and read cgtalk) is not mine, and is about 5 years old.

ATM i’m pricing out a new Apple Powerbook to replace my Dell. As for the laptop, I’m giving it to a friend of mine to try and fix, since Dell screwed me out of a warranty.

But thanks again everyone for your support. I wish you guys all the best in your threads, be sure to look forward to my new series of artworks.

Enjoy:
