Races of Middle Earth - character - Bruzun

#21

Here’s another update

I’ll try to put the images not the links because some friends said they didn’t see the urls

Garomon:
I’m paiting backgrounds for animation, but not mattes… maybe in the future
lots os things to learn before getting into mattes

ps - now it’s a little less clean… and I have something in my mind that will dirty this a lot

Slacker an Tommy lee:

Hello guys
thanks for replying, nice to see ya

which hair

the ones of the shoulder or the ones of the body?

both were made with the classic brush of photoshop… not that airbrush brush but the brush brush (haha, do not know how to explain)

Well, I’m using photoshop 7, but I guess it exists in photoshop 6. You have to lok for a brush with the ‘classicbrush’ look, and set it to accept pressure for opaccity control (forget size).

And then draw and draw

for that hair with variant size (the back and shoulders) I used the same brush format, but with fading size

and them
draw draw draw

Hope it helps

btw

nobody wants t give some ideas for that guy? I’m not liking him that musch…
i don’t know

something is strange
maybe the pose
his not posing well
‘staging’ for those ‘comic’ people, ya know?

I was wondering about some orcs corpses
but garomon thought this first

what about some uruk-hai?
haha

regards

Thats really amazing Bruzundanga. Truly. I’m thinking, what can you do to it? The only thing I can think of is to finish it. I hope you don’t get turn off by it if you’re not liking the piece and stop working on it.
That would be sinful!

#24

Lookin’ good. I especially like the way you’ve pulled off the hair. Maybe you could give this guy some nostrils. The nose area looks a little empty.

#25

brrrrrr its cold here!!
Woah, the hair is excellent! And the mountains of the background!
I like the pose, looking backwards as saing “huh? did i leave anyone alive?”
Maybe more snow on the air, or blurryness as a blizzard could be added.

#26

wow, lotsa people here

Garomon

I’ll do it till the end, promise.
I was used to stop my works in the middle (does somebody remeber mine Silvia Saint Coppertone yet?), but this year will be diferent… new year’s eve promisse :buttrock:

CgFreak

I will…

wildsheepchase

He’ll not have nostrils, well, maybe some little ones…
i didn’t work on his face yet

Pancreas

these kinda of things I’ll put in the end
snow in the air

THANKS everybody for replying
updates coming soon
c-ya

#27

hey

not an update, just an opinion

which pose do you prefer? the first? or that one with some diferences?

The orc head is stopped, but i’ll change it, as Helkar turned his head to behind and sundenly stops… you know. Orc head must move by inercia, hahaha

Let me know what you think.
Particularly, i’m happy with this last one… better pose.
two pair of opposed parallels
:applause:

#28

Yeah dude, better composition. Definite improvement. Looking fantastic!

#29

Have to agree with Gamoron!

Great:thumbsup:

#30

Some minor updates (where’s the time I’m used to have?)

Kept the old pose… look like some people see him as he was returning from fishing (that’s why he was showing ‘the fish’, hahaahha :surprised )

Lol

Whatever…

Here’s the final head (need some shadows adjustments (looks like copy and paste)) and the dead body’s position…

For you that wanna know the size of the image

here it is:

2952 x 4134 pixels
or
35 x 25 cm (300 dpis)

Like to think that in the future those images will be sold in poster format, hehehe

Comments really apreciated
:bounce:

btw
Garomon and Tommy (my offcial repliers):
hehe

#31

Hehehe. I’m one too eh? Looks awesome Bruzun, glad to see you finally updated. One crit. I think you need to do some more work on the orc. He doesn’t look nasty enough, just looks like a green skinned guy. You should add some fangs and wrinkles or something. Looks amazing though so far! :buttrock:

#32

Todd, sorry!!! I think always wrote your nick wrong… hhehhe

Nasty orc coming
promise

glad to see you replying

#33

btw

saw your website

you’re the guy of that rhino ‘beast of burden’ thing?

remember a lot that thread

:applause:

#34

Cheers Dude! Thanks!

#35

Cool man, the orc head culd use some more definition but it comes along great in my opinion…

#36

It’s looking great…However, I think you could actually tone down the color of the orcs head so that it is a bit closer in color to the other tones you have in the painting. The green is so bright against all of those whites and blues that my eye is drawn to it and doesn’t want to move around the painting. Also, right where the monster’s hand is holding the hair, there is a band of black. I think you should either lighten the orc’s hair or lighten the band, because they kind of blur together.
Looking great, though!:applause:

#37

Have to agree with Gammo and “The one who is chasing wild sheeps”. I am happy that ya found the time to work on.
Its getting better and better.

Cheerz dood

Tom

thanks guys

I drew the mouth as he was hit a lot by the Helkar’s clave.
But he now seems to be that kind of sexual dolls, hehehe :buttrock:

I notice the hair colour problem… next update I’ll fix it.

btw,
have to say that I read the rules wuick enough to mistaken the deadline.
Thought it would finish in 9th, now I see that’s 28th

hehe
Looooong time for finishing
regards

#39

Change the head a little

Less green, more grey, less teeth, more blood

Tried to fix the mouth

now seems he has a Rock ‘stallone’ Balboa look, hehehe

“adrian, adrian”

#40

More blood…

messed with the teeths

cut off the tiny nose

end

going to other things… this head is toooooo overdone

regards
btw.
hope nobody is getting sick by these images
