Races of Middle Earth - Character - 3Diva

Wow, some great concepts so far! I look forward to seeing them all come to life. Here’s my idea, sketches soon to follow

Ossata(foam haired ones) or in ancient tongues, Ullunenya (poured watery ones)

These beings were poured from the hands of Ulmo(Lord of waters). Made from the waters of Ekkaia " the dark and endless sea that surrounded the lands or Arda" where Ulmo resides. They were created for the purpose of helping Ulmo, a powerful Valar, watch over the races of men and elves. They resemble dark skinned children from the waste up, however they are serpent like from the waste down. Their faces are somewhat fishlike, exspecially the eyes. Their hair is a misty foam, and they are traditionally garbed in fish scale armor and kelp cloth. They become nearly invisible when they are submerged in water, hence why they are rarely seen. Ossata are known to well versed druids and rangers, they are often called upon to turn the tide of a battle by channeling the strength of a nearby body of water.

Here’s a couple sketches of my general idea. I’ll work out more details as I go. Anxious to get started modelling

This looks like it’s a really sexy race, great story behind - just one suggestion: leave the cloth away
