Races of Middle Earth - char./env. - sad

hmm. i like the topic and i’ve already got an idea of what the race will be doing all the time but i do not know how it shalt look.

it is a tiny creature that lives in the patterns and garnishments of buildings cleanig them up, polishing golden ornaments. not many of the big creatures living in middle-earth do even know that they exist. if under stress they exhale gold-particles. therefore they are hunted and tortured. close to extinction. the ‘gold-catkins’ are very lightweight (flying around just with the wind) and have long claws, a yellow tail and big eyes. they can talk to each other but they speak so whispering that the language never has been translated.

gold-catkins love anything that is glittering so they often get in very dangerous and sometimes funny situations.

it is a legend that one of them made the one ring as shiny as it is now.

well as i’m writing that i develop the creature. rodney matthews orientated.

i’m sorry, i don’t think i can start son because my tablet-pen seems to be broken. i cannot use a mouse due to physical conditions. the new pen has been ordered three months ago. i hope it will arrive soon.

And your description sounds very interesting! “flying around just with the wind” is great! :thumbsup:
I can see those beings in front of me: very thin creatures, skin as soft as rubber and as translucent as papyrus. I imagine them slightly looking like bats and a bit like those first flying dinosaurs, that were able to glide from tree to tree. They had a tail too…
Anyway, I hope you’ll get your pen very soon (I remember you posting a thread on the c4dtreff where you mentioned it being broken- hell! That’s some time ago now. Bad, bad, bad dealer! :annoyed: )

I’m really looking forward to see your idea become reality, or let’s say at least 3d. :smiley:

i got my pen some days ago. now i’m fighting with my scetch - i exactly know what i wanna do but i don’t know how to paint it. the perspective that i want to create is somehow unreal.
