Question - does anyone have problems receiving US books in India?

This question if for any of our members who live in India. There is a woman in my current Workshop who is from India, and received the following message when trying to purchase books by Anthony Ryder and Burne Hogarth:

*** We’re sorry. This item can’t be shipped to the country you selected. You can enter a different shipping address above, or you can remove the item from your order by changing its quantity to 0, then clicking the Update button. ***

If you live in India, do you have similar problems? What is the best way which you can recommend to order books?

Hi …Rebecca…You might try asking …Thomasphoenix // Siju …

He had a problem getting a Hogarth book, but finally got it …he told me the
reasons for the problem, but I forgot what they were, just a thought.

They are good for international book sellers.

I think Thomas Phoenix got his Hogarth book from them and he is in India…

This might help Corvax out in Denmark…

HI Rebecca,Glenn,
Amazon.com if the item happens to be with them(amazon.com inventory) they can ship to India,
I have received it for the last 9 yrs.Only If the book is ordered thru an amazon.com seller(external seller) then India is not part of the amazon.com payment countries so its not possible to buy it.

Alibris will supply books from external sellers to India.:slight_smile:
