question about transfer maps



I have a room scene with furniture inside. The wall, floor and furniture have different kinds of material (mia_material_x, lamber, etc.) I combine the meshes of the room and furniture into a single mesh. The faces of the mesh are with different material(color) as before. Now I want to have a single texture for the mesh. How can I bake the texture so that I can simply apply it back to the mesh, and the faces still have their own types of material (mia_material_x, lamber …). I tried to use transfer maps, but the texture turn out to be a lamber. And even after I relink the UV sets, it looks totally mess, especially at the mia material parts. Could you please help! Any idea is appreciated!
