Question about FBX

#1

Hi all,

If I import an FBX of a person walking, all is fine, the animation data comes in at frame 0 and lasts until frame say 300.

But, my camera does not arrive at the person until frame 350 - by this time the walk cycle has finished and the FBX person is doing nothing.

How do I move the animation forwards (offset it) by X number of frames…?

The only way I see is horribly impractical (like dragging 69 sets of keyframes –one for each bone– forward in the timeline). I have 30 people with 69 bones to do this too. And what if I don’t get the timing right first time? Drag all 69 again???

Any ideas?

Jens to the rescue,

You can in fact drag several timelines at once, you just need to marquee select all the keyframes and then click and drag a keyframe itself NOT a timeline bar as I tried.

Nice and easy!
