Quadro k4000 and k5200

Hi everyone, this is my problem, i have one Nvidia Quadro k4000 but i recently acquired the new k5200, can i connect both of these cards through SLI? or simply connect the k5200 and i forget of the k4000?

I have not idea if this is possible, can you help me?

What are you trying to achieve? SLI is only used by games.

Thanks for response, well, i only try to increase the numbers of cudas, but i don´t know if these cards work properly together and i see to some people use 2 gpus (2x k5000 for example) for more power in the viewport or rendering in iray using extra cudas.

If is not possible with SLI, how can i connect both cards? or simply is not recommended.

You don’t need to connect them, any CUDA capable software will detect the GPUs and use them.
