Proxy mode in wings

Hi

I’ve recently started using wings (fantastic!) and am a bit confused as to exactly what ‘proxy mode’ is and how to use it. What do the proxy mode preference settings under ‘misc’ do exactly, also?

I had a bit of a play with the different settings but, frankly, didn’t know what was going on!

just press shift+tab

you’ll be in proxy mode…you’ll see.
