In this picture I’m wanted to represent a calm afternoon in Provence. The scene seems frozen, the buildings and alls the elements are olds, cracks and aging. They have all lived, but have not necessary a future. The opposition between the blue and the orange accentuate all it’s, the past and the future, the side frozen and the little hope of evolution.

For the technical aspect I’m realise the picture under 3ds max with Vray and Photoshop for compositing the all.

Great composition. I really like the straight lines in the background and the crossing seat in the foreground. But I guess it is a bit to grey. You need a color contrast in it…

Just a little precision, all the cracks are make with a VRay displace.
