Promo - Seeking Artists (and Forum rules)

Hi,

I would like to post a new thread, and in it I would like to attempt to ask some artists to have a look at an open source game that is created. We have plenty of programmers, and some artists, but we seek some more artists currently.

Before I do so, though, I thought I should open this thread here. My question is if the above mentioned criteria would be ok, or if this is forbidden - I could imagine that people might not like “advertisement” like this.

Does anyone know if it is ok to ask if anyone is interested and wants to have a look, or if this would be forbidden? If it is allowed, where should I best ask?
