Project Offset is looking for an exceptionally skilled 3D Environmental Artist. The ideal candidate has experience modeling and texturing assets for a diverse visual range of environments. A solid grasp of form, color, and light for both 2D and 3D art assets is essential. The Environment Artist must have skill in another art task as well -- illustration, modeling, texturing, animation, concept drawing -- and be well-versed in related tools --3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, etc. The ideal candidate works well in an environment of peers who are passionate about making great games.

[li]Adept in 3DS Max, Maya and Photoshop (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs).
[/li][li]Superior eye for light, shade, color and detail in creating texture maps.
[/li][li]An exceptional understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regard to modeling.
[/li][li]Self-driven, good communicator and a great team-player.
[/li][li]A passion for games.
[/li][li]Skill in one or more of the related creation tasks - illustration, modeling, texturing, animation, concept drawing.
[/li][li]Able to work full-time in the Irvine area.
[/li][/ul]Plusses
[ul]
[li]Have shipped AAA PC or console titles as a senior environment artist
[/li][li]Strong foundation in the traditional arts, including but not limited to figure drawing and/or environmental and/or architectural illustration.
[/li][li]A passion for developing online games
