Facing a major block … i’m totally blank as to how i can make this interesting …

However … i’m taking it slow … trying to figure out ways to balance this section and not get pulled into heavy detailing.

The face is really important … even though that’s a small part, it should be strong enough to grab attention.

So, in this new update, i’ve done away with the previous element(s) …
this should now give me some direction …

back to experimenting!

Things are slowly coming together … although it took nearly a day to figure out what could be worked out… Which included shutting down my pc … going out for a long walk …

Then experimented with a few shapes … had to redo a lot … delete … and finally came down to this …

Slow progress … but need to get things right …

I’m quite satisfied with the form and highlights … however … not too happy with the overdose of blue
(top surface) :\ …
