Onto the next section(s) …

Facing a major block … i’m totally blank as to how i can make this interesting …
However … i’m taking it slow … trying to figure out ways to balance this section and not get pulled into heavy detailing.
The face is really important … even though that’s a small part, it should be strong enough to grab attention.
So, in this new update, i’ve done away with the previous element(s) …
this should now give me some direction …

back to experimenting!
Things are slowly coming together … although it took nearly a day to figure out what could be worked out… Which included shutting down my pc … going out for a long walk …
Then experimented with a few shapes … had to redo a lot … delete … and finally came down to this …

Trying to wrap up the top section …
once this is done … smaller areas will be targeted … and as mentioned before … details.

Slow progress … but need to get things right …
I’m quite satisfied with the form and highlights … however … not too happy with the overdose of blue

Things are going to get tough as i progress … but well worth it … i hope O_O

Back to 3dsmax for some rough modeling and light setup …
This will help me with the overall form and shading. Later on, extra objects will be added to break the smooth flow.

Busy week! but the gap helps resolve lot of issues … plus, I’m trying not to get stuck anywhere … so i move onto the next section for corrections, extra details etc…
