Summary:

This entry level position provides administrative and backup support to the production team while providing an opportunity to learn about the production environment and process at ILM. They can be temporary positions but may evolve into longer term project positions (from as short as two weeks to as long as one year).

Primary Responsibilities:

[li]Assists and supports the Producer and Production Coordinators in day to day activities, general production errands and tasks.
[/li][li]CG Dailies: Some technical ability and knowledge required to run Windows-based CG programs. For dailies, notifies crew of dailies time and location. Arrives prior to the crew, pulls shots up for Dailies from the server, tracks down and contacts CG personnel to ensure they are present and on time. Acts as assistant to the CG Coordinator to help follow up on items after dailies.
[/li][li]Maintain crew lists and current information for Production web page
[/li][li]Food, Meals, and Craft Service: Shop, deliver, and maintain supply of snack foods and drinks for crew of 50-150. Responsible for the ordering, delivery, and clean up of meals as needed. Also tasked with conceiving, ordering, delivery and set up of thematic crew parties as needed.
[/li][li]Shipping and receiving: Includes receiving and shipping of models and props; miscellaneous production correspondence; shipping and tracking video to and from client; sending film prints and film negative with the accompanying reports; and maintenance of complete shipping log for tracking and archival purposes.
[/li][li]Maintains and distributes storyboard updates to appropriate personnel, inputs the images into database. Maintains updated storyboard printouts on walls and schedules
[/li][li]Maintain and order supplies in production office, handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meeting rooms, viewstations, contacting personnel for meetings
[/li][li]Maintain information and reference binders by daily filing of documents, as well as organize & maintain a Tape Reference Library
[/li][/ul]Education, Experience and Skills:

[ul]
[li]Bachelor’s degree in film production or equivalent preferred.
[/li][li]Minimum two years of related experience.
[/li][li]Computer literacy; work processing and spreadsheet experience helpful. 50 wpm typing.
[/li][/ul]Must Possess:

[ul]
[li]Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects, work with diverse personalities and work within strict deadlines.
[/li][/ul]
