problems

i was wondering if anyone could help me. I’m having problems
starting wings. When I double click on the icon the only thing
that comes up is the erlang box. I wait and wait and nothing
I try reinstalling (even different versions) and this still wont
work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you get any info in the erlang box??

What OS and graphic card?
Have you updated your graphic card drivers recently?

oh -I have this problem too …but I have never bothered about it too much as i can use Wings on a different computer -
The one that will only show the Erlang box is on Win98 … - nothing in the box except a flashing black square at top left - havent updated anything - but cant seem to find a graphics card listed in the Device Manager - so I dont know what it is .
I do hope someone can come up with an answer to this - as the one that wont run Wings is the one with the internet connection - so I cant presently share my fascinating models :rolleyes:
