Well… When I added a sphere for eyes and started painting them, I noticed that my head also got painted. When I drew a line on the sphere, it also appears on the body…Another object. Why is this and how do I disable it?

apply a new material to the eyes…
RMB --> assign new material
there is no way to duplicate an object in mud…
you could export import it…
