preroll TP and mograph in R10?


I have a pretty render intensive animation involving TP in which I’d like to begin the render at 300f so the particles have time to fill the space they’re supposed to be occupying.

I am aware net rendering particles is chancy anyway, let alone forcing preroll on clients - but even a local render does not seem to be pre calculating the previous frames TP positions.

Is this a bug or limitation?


limitation, this is exactly the issue with rendering on net as it needs the previous data. you should use mograph to bake the thinking particles.


I’ve been looking for that particular tutorial, but I must not be using the right magic words in the search bar?
