Premium membership help!

Hello!
few days back i tried to buy paid membership but there was a problem in transferring the funds as it was giving some error i think. i contacted cgsociety but they replied with something like “hey its all your problem”. so i was not left anything but to stick with the basic membership!
so now the problem is when i go to this page!

it says “renew membership” or “register for free”
but at the same time i do not see any paid feature unlocked!
so whats is my status here?
premium or not?

the answer here is !
“i do not know”
i DO NOT use credit cards because i have to pay interest(money is not the problem)
so i requested a friend to do me a favor and buy me this membership!
He told me all the credit card details and then i was getting that error
and so this is how i end up here!
I haven’t asked him yet if the amount got deducted!
can you not confirm if it deducted the amount or not?

We can’t tell you if the amount was deducted or not - that’s for you or your friend to check on the credit card statement. Clearly it didn’t work on this side, which is why your account has not changed to a premium one. If you got an error, you evidently did something wrong.

i have checked and he said that the amount did not get deducted!
so the question again is why its showing “renew membership”?
