posts are getting put before other people's earlier posts

This thread is a mess because of this bug that I see all the time:

There are two posts there that are supposed to appear after Byterunner’s post but they are before. I see this at least twice a week. Firefox OS X - nothing wrong with my date settings and I’ve only ever seen this problem on CGTalk.

We have an intermittent problem with the server times going out of sync sometimes. Its an ongoing issue and we’re trying to figure out a fix for it.
