Check out Faun, it’s Celtic, some eastern, but mainly ancient Northern European songs, a bit of beat in it, but it’s a great band. Two wonderfully beautiful girls, 3 guys, one of the girls plays hurdy gurdy (grin), the other one plays bagpipe, sejefloit, etc… and they both sing, very nice stuff, it’s not metal at all, but it’s fun! (faun, muha)

Heya, enjoying my few days of vacation, I was trying to decorate my livingroom, to get my mind of things.

I was thinking about painting one or two walls… I smacked an image open in photoshop and tried to get some good coloring inthere… the grey is how it’s now, but the wall is damage, cause the guy who was there before us, was an “artist” and used the wall to stick ducktape on there… some art… anyway, here’s what I have so far…

I agree - go with the red. I was thinking something along the same lines for my new room, but I share it with someone so I dunno. The green it is now is a pain to look at.

Nice place you got there derby! If I were you, I’d go for a slightly deeper color, maybe with some purple in it.

Thanks ladies, I might put in some more blue in there, I’ll test it out in a second… It’s indeed Glitz on my desktop, Therry, I knew you’d be the one who’d mention it… I’m deeply in love with Glitz atm, love the eyes, the hair, the lips, grand work!

I’ve ordered white drapes, those horizontal bamboo sticks about 40 cm seperated sewed onto white fabric, very japanese looking, very cool if you ask me… I will get the, on the 7th of January… I hope I can paint the walls by then… sgonnabe great if you ask me

Edit It looks very nice, but it might be a bit too dark, there’s not that much light entering my humble abode and painting it this dark might need additional lighting…

Heya Therry, cool suggestion, problem is, that’s a projector on the left wall, so the right needs to be greyish, not colored at all… So we will just paint the further and left wall… Also, I’m a bit more reddish than purpelish :slight_smile: So I might go with this scheme now… sorry :stuck_out_tongue:

edit Look, I took out the bloody box, was wondering what it was still doing there anyway, I’ve got a bed now grin

I’ll jump in the wall discussion…
Paperclip… sorry…I know this is subjective , butt that deep purple thing there will cause depression to me:D.

The original deep red colour is way better ( i’ve used such colours inside, they contrast very well with white:))
These used to be originally the Cretan colors used in Knossos palace, but repainted with a bit more yello in to give a terracota look:
