God Jul !/ Hyvaa jouloua! / norwegian for āmerry christmas!ā
Merry Christmas to all the scandinavians out thereā¦hope you enjoy your day! Sanna (my brotherās fiancee) just called from finland (which we call āsuomilandā for fun, hehe) and theyāre all having a great time, going for a horseride and then hot chocolate and opening their christmas presents. Over here weāre all getting ready for santy- I have one more present to buy, Iāll go over to my friendsā later today and weāll exchange gifts. Tonight weāre having a family party (always non-alcoholic) with lots of food, sing christmas carols and just have fun.
Tomorrow morning weāre all going to wake up earlyish, open our gifts to each other, go to Mass, then weāre coming home and opening our santa presents.
Then itās turkey time!
How about the rest of you guys? What do you do?

My schedule for X-mas.
Iāll start with watching Burtonās Nightmare before Xmas (again) tonight and a few other things on TV. The evening is mine. Didnāt have an evening off for days and wonāt have one in the coming days either and workās been stressfully.
On Xmas day Iāll visit my sister and nephew along with my parents out of town. Iāll probably spend all day entertaining my nephew (heās 6) and showing him the latest Quicktime trailers. Heās gonna laugh so much seeying the 2nd Ice Age trailer ;). Weāll swap presents and also make a nice simple dinner and weāll spend the night over there.
On boxing day weāll head on back home for my mums birthday and another nice dinner.

Squib, thanks for the link, btw if you like that kinda gloom violin music, be sure to check out some of Saint Saens Violin compositions, I especially like Rondo & Capriccio and La Dance Macabreā¦ intend to learn how to play those eventuallyā¦ Btw Lacuna Coil is somewhat like Nightwish, hence the ābe sure to check it outā

Looks a little like Apollon, but could also be Amor, allthough amor is usually depicted as a little boy

I went snowboarding for a few days with some friends, and even though my body feels like Iāve been beaten with sticks for a day it still feels good to have gone out of town for a while.
We went to Whistler which is a place about 100 km / 60 miles north of Vancouver and apparently a very big ski/snowboard place.
One of my friends got us a deal and when we got to the hotel we also got upgraded because the place was overbooked, man the room was awesome! Fireplace, beds for everyone instead of couches, washer/dryer/bath, you name it.
We only went up the mountain for two days; the first day we took a lesson and the second was for having fun. :D

Shared a room with a slovakian (bratislavia) girl for a few days! I guess some things just stick with youā¦ thatās all the slovakian I can remember for now, maybe some more will pop up later, heh.
