yea we talk with 'clip n i gots idea i donate some and dedicate it to cgtalk peoples.
so i asked her to pick a charity and she did but they didnt accept outside US
credit card so i picked couple of finnish charities and unicef and put the donations there
.
well i said i’d put 100e
but ended up puttin 100e for each of the two finnish charities
and since cgtalk peoples are so many i thought i’d do good honors
and put another 1000e for unicef

philanthropist: philanthropist is someone who devotes his time, money, or effort towards helping others. The label is most often applied to someone who gives large amounts to charity. See also philanthropy.A philanthropist may not always find universal approval for his deeds. Common accusations include supporting an iniquitous cause (such as funding art instead of fighting world hunger) or having selfish motivation at heart (such as avoiding taxes with personal fame as side product).

So, no plants?
Orig posted by P’Clip: Well, you COULD use greenbacks to donate to charity.
Taste like chicken?
I’ve seen quite a few optical illusions posted here and some of them were pretty damn good. However, this one takes it to a whole different level. If your like me you will do this several times before you convince yourself it’s not a gimmick. Some may swear that the image is changing, but it is not. There is no green dot and the magenta dots never completely dissapear.
Above, you see a circle of blue-violettish (=magenta) patches, one of which briefly disappears, circling around.
Let your gaze rest on the central fixation cross, but observe with your inner eye the patches just when they disappear. With good fixation, you should see a strong greenish colour whenever the violet patch has disappeared.
When you are fixating well, after a few cycles you will actually see a rotating green spot! If your gaze is really steady, the magenta patches will disappear, leaving only a rotating green spot. when you then make any eye movements the circle reappears.
With a bit of practice and concentration you will see nothing but a rotating green dot.
I’ve found you can get the same effect by focusing anywhere on the page without moving your eyes, just view the rotating dots off center.
