Post Deleted - No Response from CGSociety?

Hello,

About a week ago I posted a press release from our company like we have done in the past (about once a year) but it keeps getting deleted without a reason. The first time, I figured it was because the post was in the wrong forum since there is now an actual press release catagory. So I reposted there, but the press release was again deleted quickly. Naturally, I next emailed CGSociety through the website so I can figure out the needed corrections but I have still not received a response.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong so I can correct it.

I am sorry but we do not allow people to post threads advertising their services.

I am honestly confused (especially after looking at the other press releases allowed).

It wasn’t blatant advertising; it was an official press release from a company.

By their nature, press releases simply announce new or updates to either products, services, or the overall company, etc. This can be called advertising, but then all press releases are advertising yet there is a user submittable category for press releases, that then isn’t allowed?

This press release was announcing fundamental changes to our services as well as the release of our own software, not some constant abuse of the system.

How are others able to post their press releases then? Please explain so I can correct the problem or misconception.
