Im working on a model that has a lot of separate parts and accessories and it is a pain to have to paint weights every single time. Seems theres always 3-4 verts that doesnt get weighted properly so they “spike out”. Is there a way to just set an object weight to 100% ? The flood feature doesnt seem to work.

Yes I have problems with that too. Trying to weight the inside of a mouth with a set of gums and teeth for instance is a right pain. I’d just rotate them as a group if I could, but you can’t if they aren’t one mesh (I find it more convenient to keep the teeth separate to teh gums).
It seems like you need to paint where the verts were before the transform which is difficult to judge and sometimes no amount of scrubbing around with giant brushes will get a few verts.
