I like what you’ve done so far. Keep going, I would make sure to put in a BG of some sort. are you going for photo real? If so; once you get to the really hard stuff like pores, breaking up the skin, detailed hair, and other complex photo stuff I can help with some tricks I use. Good job so far, but like I said keep going forward.
you should look up ref from other photos of people wearing pants, thats part of reference.
Head detailes done
I think i wont go for photo realizm, because this photo is not good enough, and noise is quite big problem.
But i think that level of detail is good enough.

HEHE jaki ten swiat maly :).
Co do sharpenu no to jest ze tak powiem 3 level dopiero, jak wszystko dorowadze do tego samego poziomu co glowa to zaczne dodawac ostateczne szczogoly
Z ACTA
Now im working on vest.
Here is what i’ve done:

but im not satisfied whit it, i think right side is too blury.
I’ve put lots of work into drawing fur. Made some brushes to speed this up, but eventually ended correcting it by hand.
Hi,
A very clean work. I’d add volume to the right-side sleeve : I don’t know if you’ve covered it yet, but it feels flat compared to the rest of the picture.
As for style, since you’re not going for photorealism, I’d suggest looking for ways to add texture and accidents to your picture, i.e make it more painterly. Right now it is high quality modeling, yet very smooth, not very “interesting” to the eye. At least this is my gut feeling.
Also, if the legs missing don’t really bother me, the empty background is really killing it compared to the effort you’ve put into the character. Dust, clouds, tone variation, … It doesn’t have to be highly detailed, but if nothing there catches the eye, it’s as good as empty.
thx for crit
I’ll check that sleeve.
Yes i know, this was hard for me to decide if i should go for photorealizm or for paintng.
But reference foto is not best qualit, actually what i’ve painted is better quality than that photo. Also im afraid that making this to look more like painting would destroy it. And i really like how it looks rigth now.
Yes i decided not to paint legs.
Im going to work on background now, i didnt decided what to do with it, but it think it should be something that will expose this character, not turn eyes away from it. I was relly intersted only in figure so i think that nice gradeient with texture will do.
I will put some close ups too, because this pictures are only 1414x2000. The real image is 7070x10000
