stunning!
loved her hair
Portrait of Sylvia, jungwon Park (3D)
Thanks for your praise~
Sylvia was taken about more a year because of I prepared for a tutorial book through whole precess of making after work for company.
I used the Spotlight of zbrush for diffuse map and generated a displacement map and normal map. Lower mesh was exported to maya and I applied a approximation for subdivision render.
Amazing work!
How did you make the skin bumps and wrinkles? :
- Did you make UVs and diffuse first and then generated displacement map > pulled bumps from the displacement in Zbrush?
- Or did you sculpt bumps and wrikles by hand in Zbrush and then placed skin texture over it?

your work is just amazing and you give so motivation too
You have Done a very Nice and detailed work, congratulations for you gold badge for this, Could you please mention the renderer you have used for this Image ?
amazing works!!! ![]()
i love her hair! !! ![]()
how did you render her hair? the shade of hair is defeaut shade(hairsystem/ shade )?
or shader_P ?
because i get much noise when i render hair. (use hairsystem shade + raytracing)
thanks
Maya hairsystem was used for her and mentalray was for it too.
You can reduce noise by increase min/max sample level.
thanks man!!
“This one is for a tutorial book and that will deal with many parts of 3D work process, such as SSS,fibermesh, color managed linear workflow, displacement, lighting, render pass and composition.”
How can i buy your book ??
