Poly Object Rendering Jagged and Missing Polys

So this is driving me crazy. I’ve tried triangulating the mesh, cleaning up the mesh, exporting and importing it into a new scene, all with no luck. The face normals are all fine and the geo is really not that complicated. I could quickly re-model, but I want to solve the problem in case it ever happens again.

Anyone have any ideas what’s going on here? Maya Software renders it fine, it’s just Mental Ray.

No one has any ideas??

So After messing around more I believe the problem has to do with an Empty UV set, however is appears the original map1 is corrupt and I can’t delete it because it’s the default. However even when I assign a new UV set, it doesn’t fix the problem… :banghead:
