As previously stated:
You don’t have to worry this is not going to reach its target since there really is no hard target set.
They are not going to disappoint 100’s of users that have registered and hand back $1000’s dollars.

The only thing you have to worry about is making sure you buy a copy before they decide to end the ‘Dare to Share’ deal. Which I am guessing will happen once the sales slow down to a crawl in a few days (or less).

That’s not a complaint btw…we still get our Messiah for very cheap, so win win.

Just bought a second seat for Windows to work with fastMDD. Looks like it would allow a simple inexpensive bridge so I can use my mac as a primary and still have access to fastMDD via Windows until they get it sorted for mac.

Please correct me if I am wrong about the status of Messiah’s fastMDD integration on the mac. From what I read it indicated you would currently get odd/unexpected results from Messiah using fastMDD on a mac though theoretically it should work. Messiah bug maybe? I cannot locate the post at the moment to clarify. Just want to be sure I have what I need.

Question - is FBX a viable method for getting animation into Modo?

If you bought multiple licenses, DON’T tie them to the same USB Drive.

It would kind of defeat the purpose of having multiple licenses.

I don’t think anybody has to worry about not meeting the goal and such. It is probably not in PMG’s best interest to hype this many people up just to refund the money and not get the new users.

I maxed out to 4 seats of Pro as well. Heck, at that price it does not really matter.

Does anybody know if there’s offline docs in the installation as well? So far I could only find the online ones.

well it’s more likely 90%, because the tip doesn’t count that much, if you look at the 50% mark

You may be right, though someone pointed out that there is a firefox plugin that lets you edit any page locally. They said when they changed that percentage to 96 the bar was completely filled.

Edit: Ah, here it is, Firebug, that must be what you were using. If you change it to 96% it doesn’t quite appear full but it is, if you type any higher number there isn’t room and the tip image moves down the next line.

Everyone’s buying spares at $40 a pop… I certainly can’t imagine very many people paying $1195 just to have a back up!

Although, if it’s not concluded by Tuesday it will be hard for me not to buy a copy of basic to go with my pro and help get it over with.
