“Oh… so you are merchants, after all. Leave 'em one crate…for the course”
pmG messiah Dare to Share
I get that part but what I was wondering was more if it stalls for a few days is it just over or is there a set date to reach 100% by?
It’s a mystery only pmG knows.
It could be by date or by the amount of licenses or by the amount of $ generated or some other mystery method.
All we know is when it reaches 100% if you haven’t ordered you miss out.
Okay just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overlooking that, I already bought 2 and I am thinking about just maxing mine out with another two pro licenses.
I hope they don’t have trouble with Paypal, what with them accepting thousands of small payments in a short time. I recall someone else having their money frozen… Oh it was OpenCa.mp, they had trouble last summer when they accepted a ton of small payments or something and Paypal froze the money I think.
Got the graphics card issue solved finally.
Now I have to find a reason not to reserve more licenses… hmmm…
But so far with poking around and checking out the videos, I think this will be very useful. Two main things so far would be Point Animation and Instancing. The animation in general looks very powerful as well. A few weak points but overall I am impressed. I have to say the marketing is working because I never would have looked into this software this seriously otherwise.
Go bar!
So did Notch of Minecraft after a few million dollars in transactions in a week. That guy…
Yah if I remember right didn’t they hold that money for 2 or 3 weeks, while they were investigating.
I kinda feel bad for the person at PM who has to create all these new user accounts once this deal goes through.
I’d assume this means the Mac version is fairly usable despite it’s flaws then? I’m going to try the demo this weekend.
I wouldn’t worry too much about that. The bar is up to about 85% now, and at the rate it’s been going, they’ll likely hit the goal today or tomorrow.
Heh,
Yep, I’d been thinking something similar, all those new users clamouring for their keys.
He, he, I could not resist and paid for a 2nd Pro seat.
Let’s hope this works out.
Cheers!
PS: Somebody mentioned Messiah is USB-locked. Does this means it locks to just about any USB-Stick usually used as storage?
They send you an applet to generate a file that holds the hardware key/ID of your HDD /OR/ USB Flash Drive,
so yeah, but make sure not to format that USB Flash Drive, or it’s hardware key/ID will change.
At least that’s how I’ve understood it.
I grabbed two Pro licenses and I’m thinking to go for a pair of regular licenses so the two dual-core laptops are equipped. Very tempting.
