I’ve just about finished my architectural visualization project but am having difficulties when I render the scene at high resolution (HD 1080). I’m using maya 2011 with Mental Ray. My tree bark comes out with all kinds of weird artifacts for some reason, any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance!
I am using final gather, ambient occolusion, a physical sun (no specular) and HDR reflections. My samples are at 0-3.
