Please help my composition study!

Hi, recently i have been reading this forum and books on this subject, including some marvel books for drawing, but i still think i need help on the composition of my images.

if you guys could help with this composition study im doing for a future image ofmyne , please do.

in this image i wanted to portray power & possible threatningness

The last one probably is the best of the bunch. But of course, composition is only part of the magic–the rest has to work well with the composition (colors, lighting, expression, body language…etc)

I think its pretty easy, number one all the way. Two and three are pretty boring, and the last one is too tilted.

I would go with #3 if you want to project a threatening and powerful persona in your character. Symmetry is a great way to achieve this. When a man or animal wants to project strength and power over another, he/it squares off with the other trying to look as big and bad as possible. This is achieved with symmetry. You can break up the static power of the symmetry with light and shade to enhance the aesthetic s of the image. PS—Don’t crop the wings off though as shown. Keep the camera looking up at your intimidating figure.

I don’t know much, but from a film background I like the last one. The dutch angle can be very effective for conveying a menacing, insane, and maybe threatening image.
