Hello, deleting your posts and stuff actually takes quite a while. Would you rather we just change your username?

I was thinking the same thing the other day. What if I want to completely remove my account and history from Cgtalk? What are the steps?

I’m not going to do it, but just curious.

Or can i just say no? i would really rather not remove all your great challenge entries & content from our site.

Here are the options i can think of…

  1. change your username
  2. start a new account and stop logging into the old one
  3. An Admin can delete your account and that will remove your CGportfolio and CGTalk member page, your avatar and any unique information attached to you account but still leave your posts/threads. (this also opens up your username to be registered by someone else)
  4. you can wait for an admin to open all your posts/threads select delete then confirm delete for each of them. then delete your account (option 3).

Note: Option 3 & 4 cant be undone and if you have hundreds of posts number 4 takes too much time.

to delete the account and to go is the easy way. But that person will do the same thing to the others!

because the sticky didn’t help. If you control the Sticky there is no ZBrush no Mudbox etc and he/she comes closes my topic and says I should read sticky? and I do no option to answer! This action is very infantil!

look, I don’t want to argue nor take the place of the moderators, but rule “1. Absolutely no “What software should I use”, or “App versus App” threads.” plus skimming through your thread you made a post entirely in german and that’s against the rules of the place… it’s an english only forum, if you think your english is not adequate it doesn’t matter as long as communicate your point no one will argue about the grammar… or at the very best when someone posts in a language other than english should provide at least a traslation, even if it’s a bit rough…

…plus you’re bringing this thread off-topic, which is also against the rules and not very respectful of the original poster that started the topic… :wip:

then you can open my topic and I discus in my topic but there I can’t answer becaus this man or woman leigh has closed my topic.

I did’t asked to compare the the 3d software to each other I asked in my topic which Software is ideal for my aim. If I could find it in the sticky I didn’t aske that question in a new topic

if you are mod, can you push my threads to my closed topic? and open it again?
