I had to much fun making the Xbox360 so I felt the need to make the PS3 aswell.
I made it the way I would guestimate Sony would do it.

love it very slick, now add controllers and wires and give it to me, grand turismo 4 rules in this I bet…some reflections and specularity for fun…

Very intriguing design. Similar to the PS2, but it holds its own. I love the little touches, such as the Blue Ray logo on the tray, for example. Only crit’s would be that the blue top looks CG-plastic and the ugly font above the controller ports.

May we please see more renders?

rockymaru:The ugly font your refering to is infact a lcd display, if you open the bigger picture you will see it clearer.

The design is really cool. it would be cooler if it is wired to a T.V with Devil May Cry 4 on it. :twisted:

Some CDs with game logos on them will make it really classy. nice work!!

hey… by the way… the the new PS is not called PS3…its PSX

its a good concept design, but there is no need to guesstimate what it looks like since it already has a design. your design would be a really good design if they ever came out with a psx slim. from what ive heard theyre trying to make it more of a household item then just a consol for playing games.

Wrong.

The PSX was something entirely different only available in Japan. It is a PS2 with DVR functionality.

The PS3 has yet to come out.

as brzilian has stated it hasnt come out yet and therefor neather the name or desgin is finished, but since sony has registered the ps3 logo it is very likely that will be its name.
And CyberMtl I agree, but this is only a product design so there wont be any compositions and besides the ps3 will use bluray discs :smiley:

I took a look at ur new xbox design , and u can bet the xbox2 wont look any where as cool, im not to keen on this but its still cool, and i wouldent be suprised if both these concepts u have made would apear on game sites :

“omg could this be the new ps and xbox?!?!11one”

“underground concepts of nex gen” etc etc lol.

hmm i think it takes too much influence from the ps2… and i dont think they will use the ps2 font face either hehe

interesting idea but i dunno… doesnt seem like sonys thing… they dont really use “color” on their products…

they have grey/black/white
