This project was for one of my finals for graduation at Full Sail University. I want to try and push it further and bring it into Unreal.
The controller was the main focus of the shot and what I spent 98% of my time on. The PS4 could use a bit more work especially with lighting in the gap. This model is pushing roughly 10,000 polygons and the average texture map is 1024p. I added noise to the final render to help better match the reference image.
There are a few points that I want to go back and fix such as the highlights on the R1, L1 buttons, the PS button and the headphone jack. Also, where the two halves meet on the bottom of the left handle the edges do not line up properly leading to the slight highlight.
