Pixel/Sprite Artist and Blender 3D Artist wanted

Sherman3D Sdn Bhd (www.Sherman3D.com) is a Malaysian creative
multimedia company established since April 2003. We are
currently working closely with 5th Cell Media LLC. focusing on PC,
mobile and casual games:

Our current speciality is in 3D/2D Japanese anime style artwork and
Flash animation although we can adapt to other game development
requirements as well.

We are currently incorporated in Canada as Sherman3D Multimedia Inc. and we are working in a partnership with Magnetar Games ( http://www.magnetargames.com/Company ) dealing in Serious Games for the military, police and fire departments.

We have the following two fulltime positions to be filled:

Job Title: 2D sprite artist
Job Responsibilities: Creating 2D sprite art and animation for a
Nintendo DS game entitled “Drawn To Life” for 5th Cell Media LLC.
(www.5thCell.com). The game is backed by a major publisher. GUI design
and 3D modeling/texturing/animation skills are an added bonus. The
tools of choice are GIMP and Blender. The art style would be
distinctively Japanese “anime” and although no qualifications are
required, we would like to see a portfolio of the candidate’s work.

Job Title: 3D artist
Job Responsibilities: Creating Low Polygon 3D art for games. The candidate
would have to be skilled in modeling characters, texturing and animating
them with bones. The 3D tool of choice is Blender. The art style would
be distinctively Japanese “anime” and although no qualifications are required,
we would like to see a portfolio of the candidate’s work.
