Physical light vs Portal light.

Here are two test images, one using a physical light shader the other a portal light shader with custom environment to simulate a light card. The physical light appears to be correct, whereas the portal light seems to be emitting from a spot light source ignoring the area lights shape.

Can anyone else confirm this?
