Photoshop Cs4 3d

#1

Hi Guys

Firstly let me apologise if this subject has come up before… I couldnt seem to find an answer to my dilema so here goes…

Does anyone know of the best workflow when dealing with painting on meshes in CS4… Am i supposed to be moving my objects closer to the camera to paint on em or scale the object up - I only ask because using a large no symetrical object is a right pain to work on with regards zooming in and moving it around etc… I’m forever having the object disapear somewhere in the canvas any cant get it back unless i use my history…

Hope some one can help…

Ps anyone know of any CS4 3d workflow video tutorials out there??

Cheers Guys

You don’t have to use your history… Just click on the view mode when you are in 3D and choose Front, Side, Back or Top view. This will snap your figure back into the default view.

I think that the link wwswimming provided should give you some insight as to how it works. And yes, it is a pain to move around the object that way - but it’s the same in 3D programs and really there is no other option other than to switch to the default view.
