This is my second photo realistic work made entirely in Photoshop. To be honest Im looking for a way to show off my work and maybe get my name out in the world of CG. Im also looking to get some real feed back on just how good this looks. Dont hold back, tell me what you think
Thanks

Photorealism
This tip may or may not be helpful, but it’s worth a try. When I started doing photo realism, I began using black and white only. This helped me get values and shades right. Once shading and lighting became second nature, I began to incorperate colours into my pictures. Doing things in black and white is a good way to develop technique.
As for your drawing, it might be best if you concentrated on the pencil and only the pencil. The table is very distracting, and not done well enough, which takes away from the quality of the pencil. You might want to lessen the intesity of the shadows as well.
Thanks, thats good advice. I understand the value of having an eye for grey scale. Ill probably tweak the lighting and the table some time after finals week. Thanks again.

heh. you managed to make it look like a 3D render… I second mikecarry, the table is a bugger. especially the edge is too sharp.
