#26

Oks, started to work on some clothes… Now, the only thing left to figure out is how the hell to knit a jumper?! :banghead:

#27

And one more

C&C more than welcomed!

#28

very nice pullover. for me it looks very realistic. Especially i like that collar. great job man as always. waiting for new posts

#29

Thank you man  as for the pullover it’s gonna be used as a guide for much more detailed model of an actual pullover… oh man, that’s gonna be a pain

Stay tuned

I wasn’t able to use my computer over the weekend unfortunately, so I wasn’t able to continue working on the girl… however, yesterday night I finally managed to boot it up, however, those lost two days will nobody give me back

Aaaaaanyways  as I said, yesterday night I worked a little on the hair-do for the girl. It’s by NO MEANS a finished piece, I’m still yet to work hard on it to make it look much more realistic. So it’s a heavy WIP, however, I just wanted to share my progress here

c&c, as always, more than welcome!

#31

Btw: to complain a little, the hardest part is to get the hair not to interpenetrate the underlying geometry… :banghead:

#32

wow amazing job. your model every new post becoming more and more realistic. superb. respect

#33

Thanks trianglefx once again

Ok, I’ve worked on the hair a little more and I’m quite satisfied with the hair-style on this character. I was aiming for a more realistic, spreaded, clumpy hair, no pony-tails or something like that. So, aside from the actual quality of the rendering, which was turned down a lot in order to keep the render times low during the countless tests, what do you think?

Rendering another one in a pose as I’m typing… will post later…

#34

And here’s the promised second one

C&C always welcome!

#35

wow that’s amazing! the second one is superb. shorts of words :). the model looks very nice. the countenance is impressive. (i mean in the second photo). i think you did a good post  . btw I would appreciate if you post some wires. keep it up and have nice modeling

#36

Thanks TriangleFX

Oks, started on the headband model, it’s a little trickier than I thought since I can’t use displacements and the hair system together in one pass, so I’ll have to be compositing a bit more than I had thought before…

Anyways, here’s a progress on the entire character:

and here’s a closeup of the headband:

hope you like…

One more closeup:

#38

No replies?

Anyways, I’ve toyed with the skin-shader a little bit and I find the new one much better/realistic…

What do ya think?

#39

yea is much better. btw what program do you use for rendering images. because is looks awesome. I really don’t understand why people dont coment your works. I really like your modelling indeed. Your modeling type is very neat. Keep it up. respect

Thanks a lot man

I use finalRender Stage-1 for all my rendering.
