chicks face will be snazzed up… more pronounced details, hotness, uniqueness and devious expression
Freezer is still very much in the concept phase still in terms of what his surface detail/skin will be, but I have the base shape and proportions i like… will see…
I image he will have harder/bony bodily parts that the skin stretches over thinly and the surface detail and texture difference between them will sell it. (hard parts include chest, shoulder and crown…)

Mini heads-up that I shall soon have the generic base meshes available for both the chick and alien. They will not be the final meshes, but may be useful for tex, shader, light, render testing etc… etc…

Im testing out a new joint pipeline on 2012…
low rez mesh gets all the high frequency detail fromm photos (from texture)
high rez mesh gets the deep sculpt…and the modeler can pick what he wants through masks and bending back the morph target…(and or leave the rest to bump)
(this way it keeps texture and modeler loving friends…LOLZ)
also no rush…still trying to organize with Dr. Igor…and with the new D5 markII (which Im getting)…I can shoot some stuff 2…in the next month or 2 …

pod will be of industrial materials, metals etc, will be tattied up as hes been poding round the universe with it (dents, dirt, scratches etc… I imagine heavy cake/dirt maps…, no organic shizzle…
Only organic thing about it is the shape…

new look dev sheet for the upcoming alien body suit (muscle enhancement suit) and his pod…
(see above for basic pod shape (MUD screengrab)
a little bit of insight from me:
basically, Ive never been a fan of the idea that aliens are somehow vastly ‘‘stronger’’ and more durable than us… they may have more advanced bodies like a flea or ant to a human…but still as ‘‘mortal’’ as human…my guy should only be mentally and technologically advanced. So a naked alien visiting us is as silly as us going into space naked…:)… and almost every alien ref or movie I see, they are naked…
Anyhow… that leads to the idea of giving this guy a thin, muscle/body suit.
If anyone has ever played Crysis… its a wicked concept.

The pod will a bit older, possible dirt, cake maps to consider… soot, a bit of rust, space damage… god knows… but the usual transformers ‘‘dirty’’ look would be nice on the more under mechanical parts… exterior paneling should be some hi-tech metal, with some scratch/heat damage too… general travel damge:)…
