particles dispersed using an animated map

my match is burning and turning black using an animated map i want to have particles being born as it turns black going down the match.
I’ve got my position object working so the parcticles appear where the white space is but i cant figure out how to animate them appearing using the map?

hope that makes sense!

and what about a deflector that moves with the map ?
just need a few particules on a position object, waiting for the deflector to come and tuch them to go to the next event.
a colision spawn would be perfect i think.

yeah try having them already on the position object, and using a deflector to send them to a new event where you can go nuts with them.
