Particle transforming to Shape

Hello Friends Greetings to All of You.

Pls solve my problem.I wants to know if I have particles let say 1000 on floor.I want them to be get transform to a shape of human head .What should be the best way out to accomplish effects like these.

In movies we also see a statue gets dissolved into layer of dust or some times the reverse of that happens.What is the best way to figure out that stuff.
