I am working on a small animation where I want to display spread out leaves on ground ( unlevelled ground a plane with diformation). These leaves will be 3d objects( small deformed plane ) lying there and for the whole animation I would like to keep them static and not move. For this I did following
Created 6 planes and textured them with alpha leaves pics and grouped them.
Create particle system on the ground where I want the leaves to appear.
Changed render to object and checked unborn.
This seems to be working ok as in diff texture leaves with diff orientation/rotation are coming but following problems are coming.
- Leaves are half in and half out of ground , I want them to appear lying on ground not half burried.
- Some particles ( leaves) are dying and moving as the animation is progressing .
any tips on resolving the above two issues or any other way I can accomplish the same task ?
