Particle Presets?

#1

Hey guys,

actually im coming from combustion and
if you have ever worked with combustions particle tools
(actually Particle Illusion) then you know how powerful it is
to create cool effects in a minute.

Im really surprised that Fusion came with nothing. (Presets)
Am i missing something?

In combustion you have dozens of very good looking
particle effects and i just cant belive that in Fusion
you got nothing at all?

Right now im looking for a starburst / explosion effect.

Any hints on that are appreciated.

Jason K. , are you out there?

cheers

i think there are now preset because a full 3d particle system is much more complicated than the 2d system of particle illusion, every 3d scene is different (in scale and time)

but if you take a look at vfxpedia there you can find some comps with particle examples
and also here you will see a great fire example

Of course, 2D and 3D are different worlds, but implementing
some decent presets for that kind of high end software would not be
too much i think.

Thanks for the link - will check it out!

cheers
