particle curveflow emit new particle on death???

#1

is it possible for us to emit a new particle from a curveflow particle? when its particles die or disappear.

i can’t seem to do it.

Have you seen this?

Haven’t tried it yet but it might be the starting point.

Or you can try to create a collision object at the end of the flow, create a collision event, then do the same expression. Zero out everything the attributes in the geoConnector of the object.

i guess, ill have to go with the ‘collision event path’. sucks.

“sometimes our particle system just brings me to tears!”

while PFlow users go - “we have a button or attribute for that.”

There is another way to deal it,Use lifespanPP and utilize “Emit Command”.Utilize this command from Mel and use it.You will get alot of control .

set lifespanPP to a specific age and use emit command

if(particleShape1.lifespanPP >2).
