#3141

#3142

Thanks a lot for the french words… and the support man

This staircase was in the Ile de la Cité… the Palais was beside but just remain the Conciergerie, the Sainte-Chapelle with these stairs…

Hard to said precisely, as many of them are very inbricated… almost hundred… not ?

Also, if you want to know exactly, I propose you to count them on this little video…

Really quick made for a conference I have today in Paris… to show my work to the Association Robida (Robida is the creator of the Vieux Paris in 1900)

here’s the link to download it (divx 130mo) :

VIDEO PRESENTATION 3D VIEUX PARIS

#3143

Now the Place du Palais… with the wall front to the scene…

it’s the “renaissance” part of the Vieux Paris…

#3144

Hi Lemog, I haven’t been here for a long time…(pc problems)… Nice progress!

#3145

Did it make sense at all? i had a rough time trying to get the best translation for you

nice update!

#3146

Thanks to stop here men…

I was very busy these days… but I will do my best to post the update today…

#3147

The last construction is now finished… I hope to have enough time this week to finish the place…

#3148

Nothing new for the moment, it’s hard to be everywhere…

For information, I’ve made a film about the Quai des Nations of the Paris Exposition 1900 for an actual exposition in Paris.

“Paris et ses Expositions universelles, 1855 à 1937”

It’s about the 8 great expositions in France :
1855 - 1867 - 1878 - 1889 - 1900 - 1925 - 1931 - 1937
with only photographs…

…and a 3d film… mine  in the 1900’s section… the larger one… in the center of the big medieval room…

Here’s the poster of the event :

and few photos before the opening :

and during opening day,
all the time, much people front of the screen :

#3149

Congrats my friend, great to see your work was showed on that exposition, if you have some more pics where your work it’s more closely visible would be great.

#3150

all the time, much people front of the screen

Ce n’est que justice par rapport à l’ampleur et la qualité de ta réalisation.
Encore bravo, seul regret mes étudiants sont rentrés de Paris le 12 …
Je n’ai pas pu leur conseiller cette expo.

It’s all fairness when seeing quality of your work !
Once more BRAVO !
Just a regret, my students have leaved Paris the 12th, i could’nt advise them to go and see this exhibition:shrug:

#3151

Wow, it must be thrilling to see your work displayed like this, great location ! Thanks for showing the photos!

#3152

Great Laurent  ! I hope that this broadcasting will open new doors for your wonderful project !

Cu,
Jeff

PS: I’ll try to go to this exposition, Paris is quickly reach from Brussel now

#3153

Thanks Carlos…

here’s the other photos… but during the press conference and cocktail, no time to take more photos…

Photo Gallery Conciergerie

Effectively, sad…
You know I’m pretty happy with this exposition… and finally, my film have the best place… just in the middle of expo…
…and the environment is really beautiful… that make me feel a little bit to a similar room with columns, in the Mont-Saint Michel…

huhu… yes, I must acknowledge it’s very exciting… the first expo ! and not in the little room of a far little village in the desert ! one of the best places in Paris
a great experience…

Yep… I hope too… but with this kind of realization, it’s not easy… it’s not a superproduction film or a video game… it’s “just” 3d reconstruction !
Then, I must continue to work hard on the project !

Yes… now it’s really easy and fast…
you will be able to discover the expo, and also… in the Conciergerie, the jail of Marie-Antoinette…

#3154

About the next part…

unfortunetely, again no much documents…

I have just bad photos or approximative drawing…

After much time of studies…

the first polygons :

#3155

I always love to see this sentence in your thread:) , looking forward to watch the magic progress, the references are promising, much beautiful details…

-sabrina

#3156

Yep… I don’t know if it’s really useful to said that… but each time I start a new part… it’s extremly hard for me…
I try to figure me (in my head) how exactly how that was really… it’s a step really hard, and finally also long…

and as you could see… there’s one passage in the drawing… and two on the photo…
…and I have also many drawings with more differences… :wise:

Thanks a lot for the little visit Sabie :wavey:

#3157

Hello friends… that sounds more quiet here than on the challenge thread :scream: hahaha

here’s some updates… the Passage du Palais is now finished, I’ve worked much the last night :banghead:

Nice week-end for you all :wavey:
