PARIS WORLD'S FAIR 1900 - 3d Reconstruction Project
Héhé… always a nice touch of french in your post
Thanks to ask… I feel well, even if I have always much work… I was oblige to stop a little the project, but not totally of course… fortunetely… but be sure that each time I could find time… I work on it !
The energy is always here, not all days… but often ;-)))))
The following comes soon… since few days, I have a bit more time to work of the World’s Fair… it’s the good news…
Thanks Vanda to take a little tour here !
Sorry Ahmed, I’m very late… but It’s planed now, I must start next week to work on a new animation for an exhibition in november…
(as the previous animation was made as test… and of course, not finished, I can’t show it here for the moment, but depending of the final animation for the show, I will show you when the exposition will be started…)
Sincerly, the me, there’s no result… much things started, much work done… but always nothing really finished !
I know it’s a long long way work… I know that wall when I started the projetct… I must be patient… not easy to continue always with the same speed…
…I hope the exhibition in November will open another doors for me, and maybe give a new breath to this project !
Héhé greedy friend… that come… a little resume comes quickly…
Well… always behind a computer ;-))))
even if the lack of free time not offer me the time to come here as I like… dur-dur-dur…

Yep… is the only thing I try to do when I don’t have enough time to post here… it’s important to keep regular update on the website…
Thanks to you all… for the great support ![]()
Finally, it’s for today…
…remember, the last step was at the middle of the street named “Rue des Vieilles Ecoles”…
this street in now finished… mmmh, just the modeling…

…and the next step was the little street behind “La Rue des Remparts”

Here’s the modeling of the other side :

In the same time, I’ve tried a new render setup, especially for this “Vieux Paris”…
Tested with the first part :

…
At this step, to finish the modeling of this second part, it only remain the right part of the “Rue des Remparts”…
…a range of little buildings… certainly souvenir’s stores…

…and to finish with this part… some shots inside this little street, with all buildings… as if we could be inside…

And to understand easily where was this “Vieux Paris”, in the Paris 1900 World’s Fair, I’ve made this pic…
…you could see what it remain me to do for this “Vieux paris”, between the modeled part, and the metallic footbridge at left (260 meters between the two bridges)
The street level scenes are wonderful, they make me want to jump into the pictures and wander joyously through the streets.
ps: the colours are amazing in the images preceeding the street scenes.
…it’s also my dream…
Due to my lack of time, unfortunetely, I don’t have time to post all the last pics about wip texturing…

Now the “Rue des Remparts” is finished…
I made an another series of poster :

I love it. Incredible work man! One thing though … it seems that the red and the green are very bright. Is that on purpose? You think it was like this?
As you know my friend… medieval tones was very flashy… certainly worste that we imagine… with our actual taste…
…but in this case, I must be near the Robida’s thought.
Fortunetely, I’ve many good advices of many specialists… specialists of Robida… and about the “Vieux Paris”.
(thanks Scooty for the Tapette’s Pic
)
Hey Lemog!!! How are you man?
Amazing work man, it´s huge! I just can´t stop watching all these pages over and over.
Best wishes mate
