Hello
What would be the best workflow (in Maya) to work in parallel on a character so that i can give a low poly base rigged mesh to an animator to start blocking a scene while at the same time i do some high poly modeling on it and “automatically” update on his version when i finish keeping the animation ? Would the referencing system do the trick? or do i need to dwelve into the rig and transfer weights and/or re-skin it? (all of this besides just passing him the normal map of the high poly ofc)
